I have been dabbling with Corona and C4D and for the past few days and i think this combination is as awesome as when i watched the Planeteers combining their powers to form Captain Planet.
My question is.. do you guys plan to launch a new alpha soon and before the official release?

Tho CoronaC4D does a good job but seems even more incomplete than 7.1 for max so it would be awesome if there would be a little upgrade on the alpha before the official release to avoid anxiety attacks eheh ;)

So what say you, your Royal Ponyness?

Cheers! :)

Great news on a new beta soon. Depending on what new features are introduced I think more will start using it commecially. Any hints as to what we might hope to expect? For me, multipass would be the big one. Then portals etc. Can't wait.

If multi-pass is there I will start using Corona right away in all of my projects!  I really don't want to learn another render engine... Arnold... cough cough!

Thanks guys, Corona is seriously the best render engine on the market!

It would be great to have compositing tag to hide some walls in interiors.

Cannot wait for any new version or the full release! Getting the following features to work would definitely convince me to ditch V-ray and Maxwell licenses and run strictly on Corona for C4d:

Multipass + compositing support
GI portals
Blending textures
Better texture mapping control
Real time!
Post processing (ev adjusting during and after rendering)
two-way texture converting (be able to convert materials back to standard c4d mats)

keep up the great work guys and loving the pricing models on the 3dmax plugins, hopefully they are similar for c4d!

It`s already composing cinema tag do this (hide some objects from camera or from shadows). So, you can use it till new realise will not out..

Thank you gootman :) So obvious. I used to work with vray so long, that I've worked only with vray compositing tag :)

This is very good news :)

We have been using Vray very long time but After we tried the Corona we changed all our mind.

Corona is very impresive render engine.

if you think that the next release will be paid one our company is completly ready to pay for  it. Congratulations Guys !!

Best Regards
