Hello there,

finally had some time to render out project for my portfolio, using corona of course!

3D render of New Balance Visaro shoes. Originally it was part of commercial project for www.hellomono.tv (thanks for inviting me to this project!). After it was done I decided to revist it and make renders for my portfolio. Therefore I did shading, lighting and postproduction all by myself. I also helped a bit with modeling main shell and general proportion of the shoe, rest was done by another modelers: Marek Woźniak and Łukasz Skurczyński.

Hi,

just get Allegorithmic Newsletter about new update for substance designer, one position look especially cool :)

This update targets mostly the 3D view, graph, export and performance; most importantly:
3D view features : tesselation and opacity support in PBR shaders.
Convert maps to Vray/Corona/Redshift/Arnold targets using the PBR converter filter.
Pixel Processor node performance boost on DX10 engine: about 50 times faster :)
Graph improvements: options to render comments at constant size, and to disable new node display in the 2D view.
Option to hide/display PSD layers in the library preferences.
This release also contains many bug fixes.

Afaik there is no lightpass in corona yet, but I would like to have it as well :)

Btw, you can import few images at once in ps without drag&drop one by one file, just saying ;)
Als, funny thing but I didnt know you can have tabs at explorer window lol

When I do that in my PS CC2015 they all import separately into their own tabs, it's then significantly harder to bring them all into one :)

I have in mind that you can go to: File -> Scripts -> Load files into stack...
It's just a bit faster that drag&drop and it will keep the name of the layers the same as file name :)

Yeah, cross polarized is so nice, it change the way I thnik about textures and blow my mind when saw it first time three years ago, here is the link to topic about it at cgfeedback: http://www.cgfeedback.com/cgfeedback/showthread.php?t=1854
