Nice, but all you have to do now is enable AI denoiser and run a single pass ;)

But where are the outlines?

We definately need a dedicated "Toon"/sketch-shader in Corona!

That's quite dirty toon shader, maybe try to add Corona denoiser on top :]

I don't think this can be done right now, but we already have a feature request for this logged. (at least enabling Optix denoiser and gather data for later for the regular denoising, at the same time)

Actually i was joking, but it's interesting to hear that someone feels the need for double denoising :]

It makes sense in some cases - for example: you want to have Optix denoiser while you are rendering, and then you want to save a CXR file and do post processing in CIE, including full denoising.

I would use https://topazlabs.com/impression/ on top of the final render.

Toon is such a niche use case that I've never seen any render engine do an elegant job at it.

I'd rather have the corona team focus on bigger features and use a specialized software to get the toon look

I have started to send out our Draft 1 (view confirmation, etc) As a lower res Optix denoised image.  The slight blur and painterly effect really helps the client focus on what’s important for an early image rather than on the details that aren’t there yet.  Love it!

I've had good success using the prisma ios app to convert renders into a painterly style. It's free, but if you need to get a higher rez  image (4000px * 3000px limit) you need to pay for a subscription 20 bucks or so for the year i think.

OK but, enough with painting effects. Gimme a contextual gesture with specific graphic context. line and content.

if line had a name, it would not burnout. (80's ref)

I would settle for overlapping corner lines.  I think we used to call them pigtails in archi school but I don't know if that was a universal name or just my odd professor.
