Hi,

I have just set up a test scene and get such poligon artifacts in round objects. I used a backplate for the scene and a hdri for the lights. The polygon number I have enlarged but that does not help synonymous. Did I set something wrong here?

Scene you can download from here https://www.dropbox.com/s/tjyem3y1t5mrv2k/scene.zip?dl=0

Hdri from https://hdrihaven.com/hdri/?h=derelict_overpass

thanks and greetings tuami

*edit
strange when I change the translucency from the sphere and capsule to 1%, the problem is gone or when i´m only select the reflatcion channel ...the problem only persits when diffuse channel is active

Hi there, I think the conflict is between the Background object and the new Corona sky object. We will investigate further, thanks for the file.

Hi again. Whilst we are investigating this anomaly, you can try using just a plane with the shadowcatcher (backplate) material on it and your backplate image in the environment overrides in the direct visibility slot. See the image if need be. We hope that helps ;)
