Hi,

please have a look at the scene: 1511280157_MotionBlur.zip

Activating MB results in a crash and/or in a wrong texture on the Xref.
The material shown is the red "unsupported texture"

Without MB the Xref Material is loaded and rendered as usual.
I couldn't figure out whether it´s the Xref, the material, geometry or an unlucky combination of all.
I´m sure you will find it :)

Hi Andreas,

Thank you for the scene. I successfully reproduced the bug, and I will look at it probably next week.

Hi Nikola,

sounds great.
I´m working on a project with 80+ Xrefs at the moment and would like to use MB.
So if you want me to test something, feel free to drop me a line.

have a nice weekend
Andreas

Cool!
I can confirm that the latest 2017-12-01 fixes the MB Bug with Xrefs.
It still crashes in IR, as you already mentioned in the Fix-List.

Thanks a lot :)

Hi,

I still get an crash with activated MB in the latest Build from "Dec  7 2017 13:40:10"
It works with simple scenes, but not with more complex ones.
Are you interested in such a scene?

Hi Ondra,

I´m uploading via DropBox.
The SceneFiles name is: AFP_1200-X-K1_0-360.c4d

please consider the scene as confidential.

If you turn on Motion Blur, it will crash.

I'm not Ondra... Ondra is a violet pony :-) https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php?action=profile;u=1

In any case, rest assured that all the uploaded scenes are considered confidential by us. I looked at your scene and it does crash with motion blur for me, so now we can have a more detailed look and fix the issue. Thank you!

Ops, Cestmir, my bad... sorry :)
how could I confuse you with a violet pony ;-)

however, I´m glad you could reproduce the issue.
I´m always happy to help!

This has been fixed by disallowing motion blur with Xrefs and in other problematic cases. We are preparing a motion blur rewrite in the future, wo it will eventually get fixed for real. For now, I'm moving this to resolved.
