Hi!
I'm currently using Corona proxy in order to save a Laubwerk plant on my Hard Disk, but everytime i do it c4d badly crashes.

Passages are:
1) Create Laubwerk plant
2) Generate the object from it (using "Make editable" option)
3) Create Corona proxy object
4) Save the object using "pick from scene" option
After that Corona proxy asks me where i want to save file and c4d crashes.

I've tried to use corona proxy with many different objects but it never crashes, just with Labwerk plants do it.

I'm currently using a Windows 8.1 machine with Cinema 4D R18 with the lastest version of Corona (B1 daily Jul 18 2017)

Hi!

This will be difficult to debug without a Laubwerk plants licence. I'm just wondering - could you do steps 1 and 2 and then save the scene? And if you load the scene, does it crash after doing steps 3 and 4? If that's the case, you could easily send us the saved plant and we could have a look at the scene and find out what is the cause of the crashing.

Just repeating the last message - if the crash is still happening and if someone can export a crashing Laubwerk plant for us (and maybe send it privately to prevent licencing issues), we'll be able to fix this.

There is no license problem if you just download and use the free kit (which includes Max/C4D Laubwerk "players"):

http://www.laubwerk.com/store/plants-kit-freebie/

You can test all issues with that kit without violating anything.

Good Luck

Never underestimate the power of a well placed level one spell.

Hi!
It happens to me too... but not if i remove the normal tag before creating the proxy. Then it works.
I tried it with the palm tree that comes with the free kit.
But i get some weird results on the leafs but i think that has been mentioned in another thread.
Regards,
Henrik
PS. Keep up the good work!

Crash will be fixed in one of the newer builds. We still need to fix the texture mapping or whatever that is...

have you just tried to use cinema 4d instance ? at least works in r19 when using any polygonal trees. Also try to convert plant into polygon object first
