can I convert material to the old CoronaLegacyMtl, I am still not familiar with Physicalmtl
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
Can you send in some example materials that don't convert the way you would want them to (private uploader), so that we can use those to look into fine-tuning the converter?I wish I can convert Vray material to CoronaLegacyMtl, I am still not familiar with new Physicalmtl, except to glass - it is great and easy to use.
You would probably have to use maxscript:could you explain about the Number 0 in your maxscript: ie [1280,720,0]
https://corona-renderer.com/wiki/maxscriptCode: [Select]renderers.current.system_vfbRegions = #([1280,720,0], [0,0,0], [1280,720,0], [10,20,0], [100,200,0], [0,0,0])
- draws a render region in the VFB (we are assuming that the output resolution is 1280×720)
hi, I cannot show the proxy object with full mesh method after updating the latest daily build.
Hi,
Full mesh mode is only supported when the keep in memory checkbox is ticked.
Thanks,
Rowan
Thanks to both of youhi, I cannot show the proxy object with full mesh method after updating the latest daily build.
This is expected. From the May 10 build changelog:

- Corona Proxy has lower consumption of memory when keep in RAM is disabled
- Disabling “keep in RAM” option also disables full mesh visualization
Optix is the only one available for IR denoising (it's the only one fast enough).thank you.
It's pretty simple. If you need best quality, use Corona (high quality) denoiser. Cons - higher RAM consumption and longer computational time. If you want faster result and/or interactivity, use Optix. Cons - worse quality, requires Nvidia card, might be limited by the VRAM of your GPU. If you like experimenting with new toys, you can choose Intel denoising.when using interactive rendering, does corona use Opix or Intel denoising for fast preview?
great, thank youthis question should be in v3 section, but it is closed. does interactive always use AI denoising, or I have to change denoise mode from high quality to fast preview when I want to use it?There is check box where you can switch it on/off
