[C4D] General Discussion / Animation test - Flickering

Hi guys,

I've done a few tests for object animation, but i get lots of flickering...
No idea how i can fix this, so any help would be much appreciated.

I've tried the following:
1. Render this sample with GI set to: Path Tracing & UHD Cache, UhD Precision on 1 (Animation flicker-free preset)
https://www.dropbox.com/s/vocu1xtjg9ditee/1.mov?dl=0

2. Render this sample with GI set to: Path Tracing & UHD Cache, UhD Precision on the max of 20 (Animation flicker-free preset)
same as above - no difference

3. Render this sample with GI set to: Path Tracing & Path Tracing
https://www.dropbox.com/s/f86nsbk4kctqkap/3.mov?dl=0

Pass limit 50 - Not sure by increasing it, it will make it better...

Thank you
Jireh3D

btw Jireh3D portal lights in Corona is not the same as vray... portal lights in corona just help to reduce the noise of the image...

Oh ok....I see! Thnx Marvey! :)

Hi guys,

How do i get rid of the overbright areas on this image? The bath is overbright, but when i turn the sun lower, the image is darker which is not what i want...

So how can i make the room lighter without having burnouts on the objects?
(I did use a portal light as well)

Cheers
J

Hi guys,

My 1st post here. Been playing around with corona and I LOVE this renderer!!

I've taken one of my VrayforC4D scenes and tried to get the same result, so came very close to that.
You can get this scene here if you are interested:

Many thanks
