Hey,

Just got 8.0.33 and saw there is a new option under the Add-on settings called "Use Material Preview" and it asks to open a specific folder. What folder should I put in there?

Thanks again for your hard work :D

That should point to an older 1.6 corona renderer to use for material previews until a later version works with textures.

There are compatibility issues with the older one so it won't work with all materials but at least you can see materials with textures.

Where I can download 1.6 ? Is it still free. I download some demo/trail v1.6 for 3DS Max, and it works but only for 45 days.

No version of Corona Renderer for Max has been free since Alpha 6 (which you can still get at the bottom of the page here: https://corona-renderer.com/download/old). Every version from 1.0 onward is 45 day free trial only - but there is a "demo reset" whenever major new features are introduced, adding 14 days for those whose 45 day trial has expired, so you can try out Corona Renderer 4 for 2 weeks if you like :)

If you have bought corona 4 for 3ds max can you point to it for material previews rather than 1.6? There is a materials download for 1.7. Does that work in 1.6? Do the LUT's from corona 4 work in version 3 and is it okay to use that path.

Hi! Sorry, I don't understand your questions....

If you have Corona 4, then the materials and LUTs that it installs will be the ones to use. The LUTs and materials didn't change between 3 and 4, they are the same ones. Can you explain step by step what you are trying to do? Thanks!
