Off-Topic / Do you integrate Corona in your design process?

Or other rendering software?

This is for all architects, engineers and designers in general. Lately, I find myself relying heavily on interactive rendering during the design process. It's feedback I can rely on in order to make spatial and visual decisions, as opposed to simple drawings. Does "simpler" software (or even a sheet of paper) suffice your needs for planning your projects? Or is Max/C4D the bulk of it, your go-to to create?

Also, you can get Noctua NH-D15S, which has better memory clearance. But yes you can also get AIO.

I can't recommend the D15S enough. In my case, it was a matter of necessity, as there just wasn't enough room. But whatever the case it delivers surprisingly similar performance to the one with two fans.

Great subject, excellent execution! Hope I can visit someday. Is the river PhoenixFD or something? Do you mind sharing your process?

Wow. I'm not sure why, but the second to last image made me feel at peace. Quite an inviting place, I'm sold on the mood!

Several bonus points for the description.

Long answer: Million youtube videos and Reddit threads how it can help you achieve over 9000 fps, not just 144!

Thought I was the only one saturated with these sorts of threads on reddit haha

Does it really matter for what we do - rendering - in the end?

For 3rd generation (important), the short answer is: no :- )

When on budget, always get more instead of faster. Memory, SSDs, etc..

Thanks for the encouragement! We keep reading that 3200 Mhz for this generation is the "sweet spot" and all, but the budget always dictates our decisions in the end. 3000 Mhz are already on their way!

Hey, everybody.

I think I'm putting together a 3900X build. Is 128GB RAM worth it in this case? I think so, despite the more pricey (4x) 32GB modules.

The question is... I was looking for a 3200 Mhz module, but found a significantly cheaper 3000 Mhz one. Same latency, same make. Does it really matter for what we do - rendering - in the end?

Very nice design and very nice mood!

If you don't mind me asking, what resolution was it rendered in?

Does anyone have high quality textures/materials for plywood edges to recommend? I mean: https://www.shutterstock.com/pt/image-photo/plywood-texture-158295824

Don't know if this would warrant a new thread.

The colors are great! Very prominent, yet still so photographic. The texture on the walls, I think, help emphasize the great lighting. Love everything about this!

I searched for this, but haven't seen anyone mention it.

The VFB histogram doesn't respond to LightMix changes. Is there a limitation, or is it by design? It'd come in handy to have a real time feedback after adjusting the lights, if it's even possible/feasible

Thank you! I sure needed the encouragement to change the lighting.

I'm working on a blue-ish hour shot and will bring and update soon. I noticed I tend to have a difficult time with bright sunny exteriors.

Oh, and it also took me an embarrassingly long time to notice Corona Triplanar doesn't go along with displace modifiers. Fixed that too.

Thanks for the feedback

Hey, everyone!

Questionable composition and architecture aside (yes, this is an actual place), can anybody help me understand why I dislike this so much? Any direction on this shot's strengths and weaknesses would be quite appreciated. Thanks!

This is just great!

You mentioned a simple post-production, so I assume this very photographic and natural grain comes straight from DoF? Also, I like how the overall sharpness is well balanced, something I tend to overlook sometimes. Awesome

I first looked at your work on my phone, and was about to say "excuse me, I think you included some of the reference images by mistake". Outstanding work!
