Hello,

since a few week I am trying Corana as my Default Render Engine under 3ds Max.
At the site http://coronamaterials.com I downloaded a few materials. It is a ZIP
file with a Max and a JPG file included.
How can I use this within Max and Corona.

Regards,

Guus / The Netherlands

Well you can either open the .max files and save the materials in the material library (top left view in the slate material editor) or you can merge the .max files in your current scene and then sample them (the sampler / eyedropper tool) into your material editor.

If you are confused as poo right now I can include pictures :D

You can also open any .max file as a material library.  In Slate Material Editor, click the down arrow in the Material/Map Browser, Open Material Library..., change the Files of type from .mat to .max, and open your .max file.

WOW I didn't know about this. Mostly I import all files from a .max file and choose an object and import its material to the material editor.
Big thanks!
