hi. any news about Export corona scene to vantage ?
This section allows you to view all posts made by this member. Note that you can only see posts made in areas you currently have access to.
There aren't really any special render settings for animations. If a frame looks good rendered as a still, it will also look good as an animation frame.
In animations, usually the quality can be a bit worse, because when an image is in motion, it is harder to spot the little imperfections.
You need to remember about correct UHD Cache settings to prevent flickering - https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/solutions/articles/5000515648
Denoisers have no temporal consistency unfortunately. If a denoiser does not seem to work well enough, it is a better idea to render slightly noisy frames and then denoise them in 3rd party software.
Just render it with black direct overide and alpha. Compose later in photoshop.
With car materials or any kind of high IOR metallic material there seems to be a constant discrepancy around the calculation of the fireflies between animation frames, which results in 'dancing fireflies' as seen in the attached video file.
I've seem similar issues posted on the forums before but I am yet find a real solution for this issue & have so far tried many workarounds with varying success:
- Using UHD Cache (both clean and from file)
- Increasing UHD Cache precision
- Playing with GI vs AA Balance
- Different Denoising Techniques
- Dramatically reducing all reflections on materials in the scene (very unpreferable as reduces scene quality)
- Turning off light visibility in both reflections & refractions (again very unpreferable as reduces scene quality)
It has now happened across multiple files with different assets & lighting setups, also across bother Corona 6 & 7.
Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated.
What are you using as secondary GI?hi maru. we had same problem with Foxrenderfarm.
Can we move to our support portal? Can you submit a new support ticket? https://coronarenderer.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new
Hey guys, I'am kinda not sure if this goes to help, bugs or feature request..
I sort of like the possibility of "Enviroment (Rotation)" in CoronaBitmap as you enter real angle values when rotating your HDRI. My issue is that max does not update the U-Offset if I key the "Enviroment(Rotation)" value in curve editor, thus the HDRI does not rotate. It works only if you enter it by hand.
Am I missing something? Is animating the U-Offset from 0-1 straight away the more elegant solution?
thanks
