Hey!

Can anyone help me out with the CoronaProxy object in AC, please? In the "browse proxy file" panel you can select .obj or .cgeo files. I'd prefer the first one, have some tree models to import. I select the model file in the browser, put down the proxy object in AC, and I see the gizmo and bounding box both in 2D and 3D, but when I start to render the scene in corona the proxy won't show up. What do I do wrong?
Can you please help me out how to use it properely?
(Do I have to use cgeo instead? Can any of you send me one for testing it?)

Thank you for your help in advance!

Zsolt

Thank you very much!! :) Yes I pretty like the concept now,( I could sip a glass of wine on my immaginary cg terrace) even it started as a random house model, I just wanted to put corona under a test of a forest, well it handles things very well, even export time from blender is tolerable, secondary GI is a bit long, but who cares if the render clears out super fast :)

Hey! A render I did in some spare time in the office. Modelled in Blender, rendered in Corona Standalone.

Hey! I've started to fool around and model some things close to me as an architecture student. Hope it will be a finished project once. It's just for fun and have other things to do but hope to make some progress in the future. Oh and it's made with Blender. C&C please!!!

Hey! Thank you for the detailed critiques! I agree with everithing, like to read cc like this, that points out exact problems. Well as it may occure to you I haven't used this engine too much before so there is a lot to learn about it as it is a totally different approach compared to blender cycles fo example. The grass is a patch which is in a particle system. Looks strange to me also. I tried to create some translucent and glossy material for it as usually, didnt turn out very well. The bushes are a mystery for me a bit too, they are proxies (to reduce the scene size to get my small notebook to cope with it)  with some scale problems I couldnt controll somehow ih the end. Will look into it in further projects.  What else... Ao. Yes wierd. Sorry for that. You are right. Interior furniture and everything is missing I know. Had no time for that. So in it is not so done after all as you have said... Anyway, I meant that I wont have time to tweak it more. Thank you for every advice, really appreciate it!!

Hey! I consider this project done as I have to send it to the architect of these little houses. Have to say Corona works with Blender through Joel's exporter very well. Beautiful piece of software you've created! Hats off! Hope you like it! C&C please!!!

First time to use Max (usually I use blender) so don't be too hard on me! :D Main model was done in ArchiCAD by the designer herself.

Hey this is my first serious project started in corona standalone and blender. Though I had some issues with the exporter in the past, this last release works quite fine and I managed to produce images without major problems. It's for an architect whose design the house is. It's one of the four buildings on the site, there'll be more renders, I'll keep posting! Hope you like it! C&C are welcome!
