Title: reflection angle on mirror
Post by: Barendby on 2019-12-07, 10:31:58
I have a problem. In my view the mirror reflect (the correct way) but my client want me to cheat and show another part of the room reflecting. Is there any way I can cheat the reflection angle?

PS. at the moment the reflection is reflecting a white wall so it reads as a wall not a mirror

You can rotate your mirror slightly untill it will catch needed reflection angle. Alternetively, you can plug Corona color node through Corona normal in the mirror's bump slot, launch interactive rendering and tweak color untill reflection angle will match your desired result.

Thanks for the quick reply :)
I cannot rotate the mirror, the angle is too wide.
I never thought of the bump/ normal idea...clever!
I will test it in my scene now, THANKS!
