Just so my trees don't clash with intersecting geom, also maybe in future possibility of having an animated distribution object and the instanced object being fixed?

What do you mean by animated distribution object with instanced object fixed?

So I could scatter teapots over an ocean surface and they move with the waves - that sort of thing.
Whilst we're on about scattering - an update button so if I change say the noise on the distribution obj then the instanced object positions are updated.

Thats already implemented in the newest build, or at least I hope ;)

Could we used the standard max pick list when adding object - makes things like long obj names, multiple picking etc much nicer

Also an option to clip instances outside the cam fov? Handy for grass etc.
Map slot for density?
