I´ve decided to put Corona to the test and decided to make my latest job as Shader/animator on Corona.I never put Beta tools for work on productions, can you imagine an ALPHA renderer ?
But, i was using Corona without any major problems for more than a week, and so i´ve decided to take that little "risk"...  It passed almost Flawless !

At some point i´ve discovered a Bug on MotionBlur, where parts of my model disapeared when moving fast from outside of camera into the scene... I will try to figure out and catch this bug sending the file to Keymaster...

I don´t have the Final Animation yet, but i can post some Production renders. :)

Here´s a not final render of the Shading Step to the final film. I will post the animated version as soon as possible. :)

_edit: added the image so it shows up on facebook. Key

This was just a test at the shading time, to check noise, shader and light behavior, etc. The shake is just to break the boring camera movement. :) Some people at the studio (not from 3D team) thought, at a first sight that only the VWBus was 3D. lol.
The Renderfarm has about 40 machines (quads and Octos), but i am using just 15 nodes for corona. This render was really fast. Less than 10min/frame.

I have a strange constant feeling that your car is full of glass...  like there is a refraction going on inside of entire car. I might be wrong, but does your windshield have back-face surface? Other than that it looks pretty good :)

I remember to have this feeling too, but it´s a confusion with the color of the tablet and the color of the light that´s reflecting, there´s a lot of reflections coming from the top (HDRI), and they are a bit confusing. You can see, on the shading test (some posts above, the one with the red cup) that the window on the back of the car is not distorted by the windshield. But i could swear that the front seat (driver seat) is refracting and distorting on that windshield but´s not, it´s a damn texture on the HDRI (Probably light grips for the set lightning)
The Glass model has no volume (single face)

I see...  what confused me is that the left side cabin window looks a bit smaller from outside than it looks from inside through the winshield :)

On the shading test video. The side window on the left is first visible from outside, and then from inside :)

I guess it´s some kind of optical illusion cause the the reflection confusion, the Window stays with the same site, but anyway, now i am curious. I will render a frame without the windshield to compare. :)
