One tip as a temporary workaround......  download the octane demo for 3ds max and run hdr light studio through that to set up your lighting interactively (or use Vray RT).
I will usually set up a Corona scene then save a copy of it and change renderer and add simple analysis materials for the temporary render engine.
Note that when you load the Hdri into Corona you may have to change the rotation or alignment to match as it is different for every render engine ;)
Now you share the same HDRI file and any mods to your slave HDRI setup will beam straight back to corona...phewww....long winded but easy once setup and working with two files open!!
