Hi guys,

I added a virtual beaty pass to have a more marked denoise and at the time of the render it appears in the pass list (I renamed Denoise)
Why then, once the CXR file has been saved, does this pass no longer appear? I am attaching a screenshot

Thank you

Hi there, I'm not able to reproduce that here. What version of Corona and C4D are you using?

Hi Beanzvision and thanks for your support!
I'm using Corona 10 (MAR 9 2023) Cinema 4d 2023.1.3 on Windows 10.

Please note that the problem appears when I take the cxr file which is saved in the Corona history folder.

also happens to render finished by doing save CXR.

Hi, so if I understand what you're saying, your are removing the cxr file that was saved from the VFB history and afterwards the virtual beauty pass is missing? Is that correct? If so, can you share a quick vid of this happening? I am still unable to reproduce this. Thanks!

I mean this and I attach the link video.

Basically I would like to have a very low noise threshold (0.1) and then a high threshold (0.9) in a separate pass.
At the time of rendering the pass is in the VFB but then when saving the CXR file the Virtual beauty pass which I renamed denoise 0.9 disappears.
I do not know if I was clear

I could hardly read anything in the video, so need to ask here - it looks like the CIE is showing three layers still, with the last one showing with a name of "Bloom and Glare Interactive"? Yet in the VFB there are three layers, but the last one is called "Denoise 0.9". Is the third layer in the CIE not the same thing, just somehow renamed for some reason? Since the scene is a test scene, can you send it in too, so we can see how things are set up in there?

that's exactly the problem.

I attach the scene and for a better view of the video you need to select the resolution at 2500.
I've renamed the pass denoise for convenience, but that doesn't affect the issue
I also attach screenshots and scene .c4d

it seems that the virtual beaty is never added once you save the cxr file.

Hi again, So myself and Tom have had a look at this and we are both equally confused and also get the same results as you. I have reported it for further investigation.

sorry let me understand, did you open my test file and after you save the CXR file do you get all passes? Can I see a video in case?

No, we opened your test file and got the same results as you - that is, there's a mystery bloom and glare interactive layer, and no virtual beauty layer.

It is good that it's reproducible :) Also btw, same thing happens in Max as well we discovered. So, the dev team will be on it and figuring out why this happens.
