Hi everyone!

I've been trying on doing great caustics since a lot, folowing the Helpdesk, tutorials, trying the simplest scenes, configurations... but I ALWAYS get really dirty caustics.
I'm really out of ideas on what I'm doing wrong.
I'm using 3 computers in DR, default render configuration, simple glass material, one source of light... I'm clueless.

I'm attaching some examples

Does the same happen if you don't use region rendering? Regions are not supported, you need to render the whole frame without specifying regions.
Also, since this seems to be a simple scene, I'd share it so support can easily reproduce the problem that way.

Hi,

What version of Corona are you using? If you are using Corona 6, can you upgrade and try using Corona 7 to see if the issue is still the same?

If the issue persists, please upload your scene using the link present in my signature & share the file name.

Let me know.

Regards,
Avi

Yes, it's indifferent if i do it with or without regions. I'll try to upload corona version, and If it persist, I'll upload the scene :)

Updated to Corona 7, it's a lot clearer, but still a bit "blurry"?
Maybe that's how it's suposed to look like, but it lacks rendering time.

Attached the scene too.

Thanks!

UPDATE:: That's the result for a 4% noise level target, 1900x2375px, CHQ denoiser (4.jpg)(4_2.jpg). Can't render a 1% level target on some scenes, it would take tooooooo much.

UPDATE::

Found something weird... Caustics works better if I only activate them in the material, and let the caustic solver on the render settings disabled... if I enable both (material and render settings, it gets messy as I showed). I understand nothing haha
