Hi guys,

i'm using the latest build (7.0 rc 2) and i noticed that by setting the virtual beaty pass with different noise level, this is not saved in the cxr file.

Hello,

would it be possible to provide some clarification on what you mean?
If you mean that after saving a render output to a .cxr and then changing the VirtualBeauty denoising's value and then rendering on top of the .cxr file, the denoising changes, that is the correct behaviour. The renderer will take the newest VirtualBeauty setting and apply that rather than remembering the previous setting when the output was saved. (To reach the same result, you will need not to change the value of VirtualBeauty pass denoising)

Please, let me know if you meant some other thing ;)

Thanks,
Jan

Hi,

I thought you could have a pass with a denoise set to maximum (value 1) and a render with a denoise of 0.5
In any case I could always do it from the cxr file then and re-save.
thank you
