Hi Forum & Hope You Are All Well,

I'm working on a personal project and have a table cloth with two fabric textures applied. One is applied over the whole cloth with flat projection the other the same but with a alpha channel and displacement to give the look of a thicker fabric. I am not totally happy with the scale of the bump and displacements. How do I get to control the scale of the fabric maps individually? Probably really simple but I am struggling. I tried using layered material but decided to apply them one on top of each other. Is this the best way? Thank you for any help :-) John

PS: See attached render

Hi,
Thanks for such a swift reply. No, because I have the cloth pattern as a flat mapped mask. I need to just scale the bump/displacement down to make it denser if this makes sense. Thanks Again :-)

Change the scale of the map on the material editor in whichever value you are trying to increase

As far as I understand your problem (not totally sure, though), you need to get acquainted with the Projector shader.

Hi All,

Cinemike, I think this is what I used for a previous project but I am not familiar with how to use the projector shader. Is there a tutorial? I have tried to add it to my node setups but not sure where to plug it in and how it works? Thank you for all your help. I did use something similar in VRay but that was a LONG time ago. John

See if this one can help.

I often adjust my materials in an extra tag and add these parameters via Projection's "Paste Tag" to my main materials. If the online help is unclear, feel free to ask what I am talking about.
