Hi Forum!

I have a store I previously rendered with C4D's standard renderer using AO. The store has hundreds of ceiling lights. With C4D's standard renderer each frame took round 3-4 mins. I am trying to convert this project for Corona but it is taking way too long to render. Does anyone have any tips on this? How to fake the lighting maybe? I tried applying a corona light material to each light but it is obviously not the right approach. The scene has a lot of product bays, but they are all render instances. Any help would be massively appreciated! John :-)

Hi, What version of Corona are you using? Is the adaptive light solver enabled in the performance render settings?

Do you need ultimate realism here? If not, then you can paint your light objects with Corona Light mtl with "emit light" option disabled and then place a lower number of bigger, invisible Corona Light objects underneath those light fixtures.
