Fast interactive preview, to help set regions

It would be great, if we could open Interactive Rendering, with a loaded viewport-grab*, to allow us to set up Corona Regions, before rendering.
Some heavy scenes will take several minutes just to get started in IR, and even others are so heavy that they can't render locally.

*or previously rendered frame. Just anything that will load fast.

Best Regards

So basically you would like to be able to load an image into the VFB (be it a viewport grab, a previous render, or whatever), without the need to immediately start rendering, so that you can draw regions on top of it - right?
It could be also useful for loading an image and applying post processing to it (like in CIE).
