Always good to see Corona animations! Not sure why there are no replies here...
One thing I didn't like that much (but it's rather a thing of taste) is sharpening. It seems a bit too strong for me.

Hi infrared, really beautiful shots :) I would like to know more about process. How long it took to render whole animation? How many frames? Did you use "precomputation" UHD Cache? Maybe you could explore more about this. Thank you:) keep up the good work

Hello zilviz
Thanks for comment and nice words :)
the process was pretty typical, I guess. It is hard to tell how many time took to render whole animation, but time per frame was between 2 -16 minutes, depends on shot.
There is 7 shots, each have 120 frames. I did not use UHD precomputation, there are some moving objects, and I do not want to have any kind of problems or flickering so every frame was precomputated separetly.
What I like in Corona is fact that you do not need to worry about these settings too much (like in older versions of Vray for example, if you render animations with IRR + LC, there was a lot to tweak in settings to have clean results). In Corona the process is pretty straightforward. You set the light and hit render :) And that is probably it. No rocket science, just rendering ;)
If you want to know something else, feel free to ask :)
Be safe.

Hi infrared,

nice work you did there. And don't be shy to use UHD cache for secondary GI. I am doing technical animations with a lot of moving object. It is working fine and without any flickering. Just choose the "Animation (flicker-free)" preset.
It's not the end of the world. But you can see it from here.

Hello BLADE
I did it with the "Animation (flicker-free)" preset and it worked fine, but I did not precalculate and save to file light informations. Just every frame was precalculated separetly, like in "normal" animation work process, I guess. :) But next time I definetly try to precalculate light and do some more tests.
Be safe.
