Scenerio: I have a 2 physical core machine.

Is it possible to make the machine behave and be recognized as two VM machines independently when a user logs off the workstation?

Not from the Corona side of things :) For those who may be able to advise generally on such things, it might be worth mentioning just what you want to achieve by doing this.

It's Hardware question...Its for 2 VM Machines, rendering 2 independent files. Simple as that.

I cant see how this would be any faster than just opening two separate instances of max?
Running two vms isnt cheap in terms of resource.
Also whey you say you have a 2 core machine you mean 2 cpu or  you have a dualcore processor?
If its the latter i wouldnt even attempt to run 2 vms let alone render on them independently.

AFAIK only at win server can operate several users, in other windows only one user can work at once.
But why you want to use VM?  It will works slower than batch rendering of several  files

Server versions of windows (and linux, of course), allow multiple logged accounts at once. But it is not making the PC look like multiple computers, just multiple people logging on the same one
