Is there a way to turn off or change the way how the clipping mark looks?
It's kinda annoying, I cannot click throughout it and from a different angle camera it makes the whole scene red in the viewport.

I'm seeing the same annoying red plane on some scenes, but not on others. Might be something obvious but I can't see it!

I am not sure what is the purpose of this red rectangle It appears after enabling clipping, then disappears after env ranges, and it does not seem to be related to those in any way.
Moving to bugs, for the devs to decide what to do about it.
