$500 US and we are @ 43"/4K. Noice. Acer... Dell was 2x $

Don't get fooled by that.
You didn't post a model, but I can guess some things that might be terrible with that panel:
- ghosting
- possibly VA, so good contrast, but bad colors and color shifting when you sit closer(as in - normal desk space close)
- BRG pixel layout
- PWM flickering
- burn in of images
- slow response rate (less important for work, but still)
- terrible color calibration out of the box

So far no 4k monitor or TV has avoided all of those, and could be called a work ready. I'd still do any color work on a secondary small "proper" ips panel.

It was local, it was returned. I like my QNix 32"/4K, (not fancy, but great color). Thought the 43" was going to be sim, just bigger....wrong

Also, this is strictly my IR /render screen.
