Still some issues with hdri

Corona light with hdr image into emission slot
C4D sky with corona above light into his slot

In the viewport the sky is totally bright (burned) so i can't have a preview of the sky orientation.
Render is ok but the sky is always too bright, a little washed out and the scene lacks of contrast and vinrance.

Any idea/ suggestion?

Ps: how it is better to set the hdri gamma value? Is there a rule?

(Beta 1 on mac os sierra).

turn down exposure for hdri for like "-5". should do the trick- same issue with me using peters hdri pack, cheers
