Now it's too complex to setup proper HDRI lighting in scene. I need to make a material with HDRI texture in luminance channel, put it in environment and as a texture to corona sky.

It would be much easier, if there will be a texture slot in corona sky, don't you think?

It's enough to apply a texture to the Sky using the Texture tag now. So it's basically what you requested :-)

We revisited this in a discussion with the team now and we might change it later if it shows that setting up a HDRI environment is too complex form the UI perspective. But it's more of a feature request than a bug, so I'm moving this into the appropriate section.
