Snow trails on asphalt

Greets!

Currently I'm working on a winter project. I painted some snowtrails on asphalt and wanted to add some detail to the snow. Unfortunately the displacement doesn't work with layered materials... Any solution for this? I spent quite some time with painting...

OK it works, but both materials have to have displacement turned on...

AFAIK the displacement is taken from the base material.
