Is there any update on this? Getting things right in the viewport, is slightly faster than IR so it's a bit of a pain for it to disappear in the viewport...

Same problem with FP and Vray 3.6
May be this problem only in FP?//

Hi guys, this is a known bug. If I am not mistaken Itoo is looking for a solution. But to be sure about that, do a search on the forum. I cannot remember in which post this was mentioned.

we know about this... it will require some rewriting in best case (1.8), or a LOT of rewriting in worst case.

Bump on this one. It would be really handy if possible.

While you are at it, how about letting us see the selection bracket inviewport while in IR too.

I just tested this with Corona 3 and Forest Pro 6.1.2 (Black Pine from starter pack) and it seems that:
-the point cloud objects are still visible in viewport when using IR
-the selection brackets are visible

Looks like it's either fixed, or I will need help reproducing it.

Update: when using IR in floating window, the objects disappear (but the bracket is still visible). We will investigate...

This is fixed in the newest version of Forest Pack (6.1.5).
We are aware of some other minor issues, and we are in touch with iToo about them.

i haven't seen any improvement in this regard. FPP objects simply dissapear when rendering in IR mode

going in the scene explorer and selecting the FPP object there works though, but changing anything is very unstable and not suggested

Don't expect a fix for this.. just work around...

Hey,

I'd recommend starting a new thread for this. Please include the Corona + Forest versions a simple scene and some reproduction steps.

Cheers,

Rowan
