Im not quite yet satisfied with the result tho, any hints?

Hello

I would like you guys to help me a bit with creation of galvanized material map type.

My Vray version seems to be unsuitable for this task even after conversion and fiew hand tweeks.
Did any of you go around making materials like that? How do you aproach it?

Neat, I like this scene.

I would't go any further than one or two trees the main picture is nice enough.

Of its a quick paste in PS so dont expect some good quality.

REad the FAQ, and theres no Corona Vray, theres a way to convert your scene from Vray to Corona. Just keep in mind that it does not convert light, nor It converts envirowment. Make sure you tweak your materials to desired effect before you render.

Just make sure that you read some forum topics this is a great place to learn a lot. Mostly check youtube vids.

Maru's post explains it all, but I can only add that at the current state, your Gloss is just insane 0,41 is a very low value.

I would recomend going for a search on the forum, there was a great car paint material I belive it was by Maru him self you can use it as base.

Photographers often cheet aswell by making series of photos with different reflections/refractions set from cartboards etc.
So, anyway I think that you are more than right, we need to have the ability to fake things at some level not only product/envirowment placement.

The flare is waaay of the charts, blows the elegant and clean effect. The scene overal looks promicing.

Where did you get that nice Column? Did you download it or modeled based on Wanders?
