Does anyone know why is Corona Interactive Preview reseting itself without any interference on my part, before a decent preview is rendered?
Please bare with me, but I am actually getting fed up with this.

I would like to get a preview in the frame buffer, so I can leave it and it does not reset every so often.

Thanks for you help.

PS. Im still on version 6.0

Hi,

I have this annoying problem that most of the time when I save image from interactive renderer it crashes max. If I don't use interactive renderer it works ok. And many times when I have just rebooted the computer it works ok but after working some time this problem always comes up. Are there any work arounds or is it just me?

I get crashes from Corona Frame Buffer every time I have bloom and glare ticked. I have to use workaround, first save to exr, then to hdri, then to 16 bit tiff (shame its not possible to save to 16 bit tiff straight out of Exr - just a side note.).

Try unticking bloom and glare options?

Whe you install Corona 7, you will get updated converter which will convert old Corona materials to new physical materials. Is that's what you wanted to know?

Yep, pretty much what I was inquiring.

Thank you both for your time to reply.

Cheers :)

Awesome tool, can recommend.

Im curious will there be (or is there) a converter from Corona 6.0 (or just standard Corona mats) materials to Corona 7.0, you know for lazy people? ;)
(just like its possible to convert Vray to Corona using the converter).

Would be nice, especially with all the 3d libraries one has, if indeed the new materials are that much superior to old mats.

Still on Corona 6.0 untill the stable 7.0 gets more stable (from the threads I read :P), will be making the switch sooner or later.

Regards.

Or ... Simply use Pulse Scene Manager, which will allow this and much more 😉

+1...

I know, I know, you don't want to pay for extra shit, I get that.

But honestly, after Corona, Pulze is my single favorite tool. Yes, it might have some features I don't use at all, but it's revolutionized my workflow, I cannot imagine life without it.

I'm a massive fanboy of Pulze (no connection to them), they are very responsive to bug reports, ideas, updates etc.

Not true, I buy assets for projects all the time, so its not about the money. Its mostly about relying (too much) on 3rd party programs and those getting discontinued (not saying it will happen to Pulze, I cant know this now can I), as well as getting stuff that one will not use, really simple.

Will always prefer native tools than to purchase hundreds of plugins. Think Pulse Manager is overkill, too many functions I simply dont need. I dont want to reinvent 3dsmax for myself with new tabs, just improve a little bit on the existing ones.

Would be great if Corona team would implement this little camera feature, simply feed the resolution directly into Corona frame buffer from the camera tab.

Created another mockup, a bit ugly and rough but the jist is there.
Not sure why the portrait and landscape option - I think a simple "swap" button to swap the height and width resolutions would do, but I might be missing something, so I basically added the suggestions.

The "camera select" could actually select another camera in the scene and open it in the modify panel (or it would be possible to edit the camera settings of other cameras from each camera in the modify tab).

Might be too cluttered in the end, just an idea how this could look.

PS. Also radio buttons on the portrait/landscape instead of tick box perphaps.

Try using Corona Scatter. Create few boxes chamfer edges a bit and add a turbo smooth, perphaps some noise. Use variations in scale and Z axis mostly, as well as some rotations. Might actually do the trick.

Im sure youve heard that perfection cant be achieved, well in this instance this is perfection for what it is, casual shot of automotive with backplates. Congrats.

Is the LUT for commercial use or is it personal (with the licenses you have on your page)?

Would be nice to see a shot before LUT to get an idea.

Cheers.

Hello,

Ive been recently thinking of adding VR in Unreal to my toolbelt.

There are at least 4 different licenses, and I am unsure what license would VR for architecture be categorised in.
There are 2 standard licenses, "Creators License" and "Publishing License".

Tried asking on Unreal forums, with little to no luck. Only one person replied stating that such work would fall under free category (not paying anything), which I highly doubt.

I would appreciate if someone could share a little bit of info on this.

Thanks for your time.

Regards.

Would be grateful if something similar was implemented (I think there are batch render plugins and addons but not aware if there is something similar already built in Corona Render?)

Ah, thats a shame.
Nevertheless, thanks for the link and info TomG.

Cheers.
