Hi guys, I have a strange final result with a new CoronaPhysicalMaterial. What can be the reason? It gives different results & more noise with the same settings. Thanks
New PhysicalMaterial implies a relationship between the glossiness of reflection and glossiness of refraction, in this case both are equal to 0.8, in the first case with CoronaLegacymat the glossiness of refraction is equal to 1.0

Thank you. How can I get a similar effect? Is there any workaround?

Yes walls have thickness. Also, I added Image 2 to show that turning all the lights off still visible those white leaks.

Hello,

Having some issues with the Intel denoiser. After render is finished with Intel denoise I receive some strange white leaks. This only occurs with Intel denoiser, but with NVIDIA or Corona High Quality denoisers no issues. It looks like light-leak but it isn't, because I turned off all lights and checked everything in terms of geo - still those white leaks exist. Also, while rendering is in the process - no white leaks visible, only becomes visible when Intel denoising starts. Any solution? Thank you

Image 2 - Intel denoiser with turned off lights (still visible white leaks)
Image 3 - NVIDIA or Corona High Quality denoisers (all good)

Thank you! Really strange, because today I opened Gamma settings to make a screenshot for a friend, and the "Materials and Colors" two options were unticked by default. Now it looks like it was ticked all the time in the background, but when I opened it maybe automatically unticked, don't know. Mystery:)) Thanks

Hi guys,

Today I opened a 3dsmax and for no reason in Material slot all the materials updated to dark preview like there is no light. Now I can't see how materials look in preview. I don't know why it happened, I tried to find some information but didn't find it. Any help? Added two screenshots how it looks after you click on a material and its updates. Also added one screenshot how it should look normally bright (MS03). Thanks

The funniest thing is that everything work just fine after 3dsmax restart  at the moment. I've even tried to create a new scene with some random objects, but everything seem alright :D

Hi guys, I am using VolumeGrid with fire file and when I load IR it starts refreshing constantly and doesn't matter what I do, it just refreshing during IR not even reaching 2 pass. Sometimes refreshing starts when a mouse cursor is on the viewport, but stops when I move cursor out of the viewport window. Is it a bug? Or it should be like that? It is really hard to see a result during a constant refresh of render during IR.

Update: Tried another test, so a constant refresh of IR stops when I don't use Isolate selection toggle or there are now hidden objects.

Hi, I am using RC4 atm. After finished last render, I decided to resume previous render in another camera angle with a resume file (.cxr) to render a little bit more passes, but unfortunately during the resume rendering I've received strange behavior in VFB window - the last render became visible with opacity over the resume rendering. I've tried to turn off all Lightmix layers and discovered that a few layers when turned off also hides the last render in opacity. Then I decided to re-start 3dsmax and try again with a resume file one more time, after restart the last render in opacity was gone and everything was ok. So, it seems like Corona kept history of the last render and during the rendering of another camera angle with resume file that last render became visible. I think this is kind of the bug in accordance with a Resume File option. I've attached image.

Please add this optical zoom in VFB window, not just in a viewport. In my opinion most people use IR in VFB rather than in viewport most of the time, so why not to add it in vfb? Thanks.
