Hello there,

I guess I'm not the only one who's expecting some discounts this year too, will there be any tho? So far the devs are quiet about this, when pretty much all the others has already announced their deals.

Thanks!

Basically the topic speaks for itself, but just to be clear- is there a way to copy-paste render elements to another scene? Scenes are identical, just that one of them is already set up with render elements and another is not.
Thanks!

Hej mataskava,

absolutely top work you have done there!
I have 2 questions:

1. How do you get the images so 100%
noise free? Was it just rendertime and limit around 1,0%
noise level or was denoising involved?
I could imagine the metal on the furniture tops
would stay noisy a long time.

2. The floor material (wood heringbone).
I would buy your knowledge to get this exact look.
Can you tell your source and setup on this one?
If you dont like to do it public, please send a PM to me.

Looking forward to your feedback!
Best regards
Nico

I am pleased you liked it!

1. Actually you can find some noise if you're looking for it. In this scene pretty much all shots had problems with it, hence really long render times (3 to 7 hours) and a bit of denoising (up tp 0.3-0.4max).
Noise level was set to 2-3% I believe when rendering these, but some spots were really problematic and the noise didn't clean no matter how long you render. Metal on the furniture tops wasn't a problem actually.

2. Not sure what is this exact look you're talking about, but it's made out of 2 planks (one wide and one narrow) and scattered across with railclone. And the texture is just a simple wood texture, nothing to really talk about.

Cheers!

Hey!

Here's another one of my recent works :)
This one was looking promising straight from the beginning, since the design and the layout of an apartment itself was kinda unique (well, at least compared to my recent projects).
Overall I am quite happy with the result although I could've used just a little bit more time.

I know it wasn't the focus of the images but I've got to comment on the wood floor -  Looks incredible!

Actually I was focusing on the floor just as much as into the cabinet itself:)) Creating the floor took most of the time in this case for sure. It is geometry with couple levels of noise and uv unwrap applied plus displacement. Oh and the nails are geometry too.

So my daily routine is all about archviz. But sometimes I love to freshen my mind and create my own furniture design or to replicate someone's else in 3D. This is an example of the latter.
Design concept borrowed from the holy grail of Pinterest. Don't know the name of the cabinet nor the creator/designer, sorry.

Oh and by the way, me and my colleague freshly started our own little archviz studio, do not hesitate and visit us @ https://www.facebook.com/faktorstudio/

Cheers!

Absolutely Brilliant!
Composition, materials, light is dammn... and last but not least Color Grading is very good.
Curious to see this raw.

Glad to hear you liked it :)
I've tried searching for corona exr in my pc of this scene but it seems I have deleted it already. That means no raw file this time, sorry.

Hey there!
So I came across this beautiful sideboard on the internet and my first thought was I have to do this one in 3D :)
It was a great practice and a good fun at the same time.

So I got carried away a little when doing this archviz project..
And this is what came out.
Meet the curious robot!
Since this was too much fun I'm already thinking of doing some more of this :)
