It's coming! ;) Currently, the only workaround is to use C4D lights. You can check this thread on how to do that. Also note that it will only work in the final render and not with IR.

Hi there, Using the ''melt'' function in C4D should resolve this. Select all offending faces (or the ones you want merged as one) and right-click > ''Melt''. The result should look similar to my example. I hope that helps.
