Gallery / Levitas Temporis
« on: 2022-01-05, 16:04:44 »
Hi, this is my first attempt at making a short.
I would like to know your view on this.
When I started to read, a new world opened in my mind. My wife is the person who made me love books, and I am so thankful for that.
Levitas Temporis or Lightness of Time represents how time goes quickly when we are reading.
This short film made me realize how books, cinema, and TV shows are joining my passion for storytelling.

Work in Progress/Tests / Re: The Trail to Machu Picchu

Thanks!
I'm sorry for my delay but I was finishing a job.
I started with a Phoenix FD simulation - 5% initial liquid fluid, and a simple and soft wave.
Exported to mesh and assigned a Corona Material.
There are two kinds of foams, river foam made with a Photoshop editing map and the other foam made with a Corona distance texture.
Works better for far cameras because it's not a detailed texture.

Work in Progress/Tests / The Trail to Machu Picchu

Machu Picchu is one of the most incredible places that I have ever visited. The Inca city is hidden in the Amazon rainforest and built at the top of a mountain. There are many ways to get there, and we chose a 10km trail that departs from the hydroelectric along the Urubamba River. It was a great choice and an incredible experience. Almost 5 hours to arrive at Águas Calientes. Sun, heat, high humidity, rain, and cold along the way. On the next day, we visited Machu Picchu. What a wonderful and intriguing place. We got a train back to Cuzco, a great choice with spectacular views. This adventure inspired me so much that I decided to express my wonderment by working in CGI scenes, trying to bring to those images not only what I saw but also what I felt in this magical place.
