Thanks!

Yeah looking now it's confusing. :)
The render were all done in Corona. The sea it's a baked map from Blender, I think it's better to change the description.
I used Octane render to create the HDR for the studio shot, I'm mapping that on the target light inside 3dsmax to create that effect.

Hello!

Sharing a few renderings that I did with this model.
I really like sunlight for rendering cars so I tried to create a sea photoshoot, sort of. :)

The sea was made using Blender 3D, I liked the result, let me know what you guys think.

Also did one render using some caustics hdr created with Blender and Octane.

Thank you and here are the images.
Leo.

Hello! :)

I would like to share a few images that I did recently. I tried to create some studio shots for this chair model.
Modeling was done on Modo, 3dsmax and Corona Renderer for rendering.

You can find more images on my Behance, link below.

Thank you and I'm looking forward to hear what you guys think!

Thank you Sebastien!
I agree! Some of them are very good for a cloud generator, in the future we will not know the difference, which is good! :)
Thanks!
Leo.

yeah the results are very nice, hopefully we can get more control in the future to create different shapes.
and of course, let us see your results when you try it!

Thank you!

Hey everyone!

Sharing a few images of clouds using the model from the daily build 9.
It's awesome! Great results I think, let me know what you guys think.
I'm really fan of clouds so when I saw this feature on Corona I tried to create some clouds.

Thank you! :)
Leo.

Hello everybody!

I'm sharing a few shots from my attempting to create a salt desert 3D scene for this car. I still have a lot to progress on it but I have to make these shots otherwise it will take forever to finish. :)
I used 3dsmax and Blender for the main scene, Corona to render of course. :) new materials for the car shaders, the physical material is awesome!

Hope you like it and let me know what you guys think!
Thanks!
Leo.

That's exactly what I would call "something wrong with our caustics". :)

Well I guess you are correct on this one. :)
It works great though, here is a render from a pool that I did recently.

Thanks!

Hi Maru,
I don't think we have something wrong with Corona caustics, Iray has a better definition for the caustics itself I think, also it cleans faster because of the GPU. My main question is how to get a cleaner look with caustics like this on Corona, I tried experimental settings but it didn't work as expected, I got too much noise and fireflies, even with denoiser set to remove fireflies.

Overall the look of the caustics are the same between Iray and Corona, so maybe I've written the question in the wrong way. :)
Thanks anyway.
Leo.

Hey everyone,

Posting some images from a personal project done with Corona.

The Cartier Carat was modeled on Modo and rendered on Corona + Iray for the caustics. I tried the Corona caustics for this bottle but the definition from Iray was a better choice for these images, if anyone know what I did wrong to not get these results using Corona caustics, please let me know.

And of course let me know what you guys think about the images, thank you!

I know that you asked about using Corona, but you can also do this using ZBrush.

There is the Grabdoc option that capture and creates an alpha/texture. You only have to set your document size to be the size of your texture.
Just another option. :)
