That's great to hear, thanks for the info :)

Since old plugins don't work for c4d r20 and a different corona c4d plugin is needed I was wondering if scenes created with corona for c4d r20 can be opened with say corona for c4d r19?

Sorry I missed your reply, but I ended up doing what exactly you suggested. That solved the issue. Anyway thanks a lot for your answer :)

[C4D] Resolved Bugs / Issue with IK Tag and IPR
« on: 2018-07-14, 14:18:24 »
I've just stumpled accross the following issue with IPR when an IK Tag is in the scene.

1. Draw  a spline, add some elements and a light source to the scene
2. Add IK Tag in point mode and add goal (see attachement "setup")
3. start IPR
4. IPR keeps starting and stopping the render again and again (see attachement "issue")

It seems that Volumetric Fog is creating some kind of white fringing when I try to exchange the sky in post.

The second image attached is rendered with volumetric fog, saved as a png and another sky added as a background in post. The first
image shows the exact same process but rendered without volumetric fog. There is no white fringing whatsoever.

Is there a way to fix that?

[C4D] Resolved Feature Requests / Save crx file via savepath
« on: 2018-03-16, 15:41:44 »
I'm not sure if there already is a way to do this, but It would be great if it was possible to save the crx file via a savepath,
so I could render an animation on a renderfarm and later on have one crx file (with all the passes) per frame. Even cooler would be if it was possible to open all that crx files together as an animation with a timeline in the corona vfb and edit them
all at the same time.

Is that already possible?

Thanks in advance for any help.

I kind of feel that this topic hasn't really been solved, but got a bit forgotten, so I'm posting it again in this section.
Is there a way to solve the issue discussed in this thread?

I have the exact same problem. Didn't notice that before. The image saved directly from the corona vfb looks perfect, however saved from the c4d
picture viewer or via a saving path it looks like the gamma is too low. I tried to fix it in post but it seems not to be possible to match the original image with
gamma corrections. Saving the image and passes by hand from the corona vfb seems to solve the problem, but for an animation with many frames
that's not doable. Would really appreciate any ideas even for just temporary workarounds.

Sorry for not replying I totally forgot about that post. Turned out there is a problem with mograph and object motionblur. Allthough in an animation I just made it worked, so maybe the issue is solved already.

I'm using the B1 daily Jul 18 2017 (core 1.7 DailyBuild Jul 18 2017) build. Is there any renderfarm that can already render this build?

Thanks for any help

I have a scene where I have around 100'000 mograph clones as render instances. They are displayed in the viewport and also are visible when rendered in the viewport.

I have a plain effector to animate the popping up over time growing the scale from 0 to 1.

Before frame 20 they are not visible in the rendering in the image renderer, but when I render in the viewport they are visible.
After frame 20 everything works perfectly.

If I turn off the plain effector everything works also fine before frame 20. There is no keyframe or anything similar on frame 20.

I appreciate any ideas how that could be solved.

[C4D] General Discussion / Re: bake light mix
« on: 2017-09-12, 22:25:23 »
Thanks for your help. Baking does not seem to work for me, since I'm lighting with an hdr sky.
I can modify the light color of the hdr in the lightmix, but when I bake it, the color of the hdr ist still the same.
But saving the lightmix pass should work well for me.
thank again:)

I'm defining a save path in the render settings before rendering and for the file format I tried jpg and exr as well.

[C4D] General Discussion / bake light mix
« on: 2017-09-11, 14:06:05 »
Hi,

Does anyone know if it's possible to use the lightmix feature without having to bake the light mix into the scene file at the end?
When I don't it's always saving out the frames without the lightmix adjustments.

Thanks in advance for any help
