Software 3ds Max 2014, Corona 4, ForestPackPro 6.1.5, Photoshop CS4.
Daylight renders made with pure CoronaSky and CoronaSun.
Dusk render made with NoEmotion hdri  "03-28-Sunset.rar" which is available to free download at http://noemotionhdrs.net (Thank You NoEmotion team for great and free HDRi maps).

I found that textures.com has new library of scanned objects:) Yeah and 3 objects are free to download (little bread, watermelon and small stone):

There are OBJ files and diffuse, displacement and normal maps to download.
I suppose that it can be used in any software with Corona. I tried with 3ds max 2014 and Corona 1.6 - looks good.

I have 2000 frames animation for big project. 3ds Max file is 1.6 GB + 800 MB textures. All paths for files are UNC (3ds max and assets are on our local server). I see that our render slave (128 GB RAM plus 28 cores) in our render farm is downloading scene and assets from servers for EVERY frame . I'm loosing over 1 minute for that on every frame...Can i turnoff it? This scene with assets should be downloaded ONE TIME to local directory, not downloaded at EVERY frame....
Second problem - i see that 3ds Max is saving whole scene (1.6 Gb) after every rendered frame - is it normal? i'm loosing next 1 minute on it for every frame...How to disable this savings...I turned off abutobacku but it's still saving after every rendered frame.
Please help me save my time and money:)

We are using in company last Corona 1.0 version (Corona_1.00.01) and all time we have this problem with listed menu (right click  in 3d max). Picture in attachment.

3D Max 2012, Corona 1.00.01. Scene was created with Corona Alpha 7.2. Now when i want to stop rendering animation, i'm pressing "CANCEL" (not STOP in Corona VFB), after this 3D Max is crashing and going straight to desktop...no error code, no blue screen, just exit and close program...
next problem - when i'm rednering the same animation (the same scene), animation is calculated only in 3-4 frames, time to time 15 frames and 3D Max is rapidly closing and with no error is going to desktop...I tested UHD cache, path tracing, Hd Cache (legacy) and always 3d max is calculating only few frames.
I'm not able to prepare any animation.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Object invisible in reflections

Bug in Corona 1.0 (not new bug fiex version). Path Tracing + HDCache is used. I wan to make my 3D Trees invisible for Camera but visible for reflections (trees should not cast shadows).
When i turn off "Receive Shadows", "Cast Shadows" and next i turn off "Visible in Camera" (object properteis) than my trees are invisible in reflections...when i turn on "Receive Shadows" and "Cast Shadows" than trees are visible in reflections...
What i'm doing wrong (or corona) ?

[Max] Resolved Bugs / Rendering materials in material slot

Corona renderer is using only ONE core thread to render materials preview in material slot. In complicated materials it's taking ages to refresh all material slots. Is possible to add multithreading for material preview?

For IOR (refraction) greater than 4.0 caustics are hanging my 3d max (PT + PT). For PT+HD only HD is going good, but than "rendering initial pass" is looking like paused after first 2 minutes.... Corona renderer is still busy, no new pixels in renderer windows...i waited 15 mintues - rendering didn't started. Is it to big value for caustics to calculate photons? Maybe it's physical correct because i don't know materials with so high IOR for refractive (diamond is 2.419).

I made render for few boxes with simple glass shader. If caustics are off then shadows are not so intensive (refraction color is 250,250,250 ).
If turn on caustic - shadow is going to be black (refraction color is the same - 250,250,250).
Is this bug or a physical correct feature?

After i normalized all displacement materials, all scene rendered very good and smooth:) Distributed rendering is very helpfull :)
Two workstations wa used - every workstation has 2 x X5650 and 24 GB R.
Render time - 25 minutes.

I tried the new Alpha6 pre-release (2013-03-02, 22:54:15 build). After conversion scene with script (0.15 version) , if i hit RENDER i get these errors (look on photos). I can't do anything. 3D MAx i crashing, bitmap paging is turned off...i have 24 GB Ram and in moment when 3D Max and Corona is crashing i have only 6 GB used.
In ALPHA5 i made the same conversion (with script 0.14) and in next moment i hit render and scene started with no problem on the same computer.
Actually i'm not able to run this scene with CORONA. I tried to remove most of geometry (books, tableware), i made simple lighting and nothing.
Has someone similar problem and errors?

Hello
In new CONVERTER script (0.15) i found that EVERY material (vray material) with DISPLACEMENT, after conversion to CORONA material has displacement TURNED ON and amount is from 0 to 254. This option is totally crashin all my scenes, because after i hit render i'm getting huge furnitures with totally crap size of displacement - every model is resized circa about 254 cm and is filling all camera space with this amount of displacement...is possible to add option to script to TURN ON or TURN OFF displacement in materials or some possibility to set of min and max amount od displacement in script?

In vray rendering everything is OK. Orchidea flowers actually are BEHIND table??? it is some problem with visiblity, but i checked all materials, alle properties (visible for camera or reflections etc) and everything is correct. All face normals for this table is ok (i checked in EDIT MESH in 3d max). What's wrong?

I love You Corona:) Please comment lighting, shaders, mood etc.
All furnitures made by me, some decorative sets made by me and others downloade from 3DSky.
