[Max] General Discussion / Problem license corona 9

hi all, i can't solve a problem related to the corona9 license

for each node i have to activate the license of 3dsmax 2023 and corona, but when i try to activate  corona 9 , 3dsmax 2023 giving an error pop up shut down , i tried to reinstall both 3ds max and corona 9, do you have any advice, m i missed any discussion thread where this issue has already been discussed? thank you

Hi everyone, since I switched to 3dsmax 2022 it generates a preview of the file instead of the usual icon, this is annoying for me, I have organized each file with its own preview and the double images mess everything up, you know if it is possible to disable this thing in files.max? thank you

When the dr starts in the nodes 3dsmax 2022 starts up and asks for username and password, with 3dsmax 2021 this did not happen, did it happened to someone else?

Hi, for some weeks I have this problem, lately more and more often, when it starts it goes on minutes in which I can not save or do any other action, I tried to reinstall the video drivers and all the Microsoft-Visual-C-Runtime, can someone help me?


i have installed corona 7 and 3dsmax 2021

Hi everyone, i sarched on forum but i cant find other tread about my problem.
if there is other discussion sorry in advantege.
i have problem with dr on backburner on animation, i have 3dsmax 2021 and corona 6, when i start a job first frame work perfectly, all node receve scene and start to work, but at second frame all node stop on downloading scene and dont contribute to work...

[Max] Bug Reporting / corona 3 hot fix 2 install problem

Hi everyone.
Finally i have time and free render farm for update corona from version 2.0 to 3.0 fix 2, i installed it on all my node except one where i can't install the hotfix.
when i try to install, windows show me this error...
i tried remove completly corona end reinstall it from zero..
i wrong something?

all pc have win 7 and before now, all past installation was completed without error or problem..

PS:
update: now all the nodes break calculation continuously, I installed corona as I always did.
did I miss any discussion about it?

now i had to re-install corona 2 version for continue working.

[Max] I need help! / vase glass absorption effect problem

hi everybody.
i tried to reproduce this effect on glass vases, i don't know if i wrong something or if i found a bug,  the model is one with 3 different id, i use a corona multimap on absorpion color for give different color to the parts,

i attached the exemple
my result
and a test with ior refraction set to 1, where absorption effect result correct.

Hi, i tested this scene in two different pc an i7 3960x and a dual e5 2650 v3

A dual xeon should be faster than i7 but it is not.

it's strange or I'm missing something?

Over the years I tried various render engines , MentalRay, Maxwell Render, Vray but since I started using the Corona alpha three years ago I slowly moved all my works on this software , since its birth i found it very intuitive and fast, facilitating my work process.
I want to congratulate to the development team, keep it up.

[Max] Resolved Bugs / corona light include exlude problem

Hi, i serched in the forum but i didn't find an other discussion to this problem.
If i use include exclude option in corona light, all the lights that I create later they have the option active, although not visible in the menu include exclude.
