Title: Render hair like in native c4d
Post by: 3dkobi on 2021-08-22, 11:07:17
Hi,
I bought a model of a goat with hairs done with native c4d shaders. I need to replicate the same "look" of the hairs in Corona. I didn't find any tutorials and I'm a bit confused what will be the best way to do this.
I already turned on "render hairs" in the generate tab of the hairs and I tried using the Corona hair material, but no matter where I put the diffuse map of the goat I get an ugly looking fur with a solid color all over it instead a nice fur like it should.
Any idea what I'm doing wrong ?

Yes, I've checked all those links already...
I just need to understand why the hair color is solid brown. It's like the corona hair material doesn't use the bitmap inside
