Post by: haggi on 2014-03-20, 23:53:02
Hi,

I was able to add deformation motion blur and the translation of mayas smooth mesh preview to corona: https://vimeo.com/89662838 (https://vimeo.com/89662838)

Tiiiiiiiiiiight!  Is this how mesh smoothing is done in mayaToCorona now?  Does it still render using smooth mesh preview if it isn't enabled in the viewport?

No, corona does not have a subdivision method which can be used in this way. So it only reads the smooth proxy from maya, it is more or less the same way it works in 3dsmax.
