Title: Crash with Hair [RESOLVED]
Post by: Cinemike on 2020-04-06, 20:14:56
Hair has become pretty unreliable and responsible for crashes lately, as it seems.
I've uploaded a scene that crashes on render while "Preparing geometry". The reason lies within the used hair objects.
It used to render fine with R20 and V4. No idea which of both is to blame.

Maybe this new scene and the bug report can help.
NSFW, so display it on your screen at your own risk ;)
Switching off Frizz AND Kink helps, having BOTH on causes the crash, having EITHER off does not crash.

R23, Win 10, Corona V7 daily 2.

confirmed crashing on W10
& it seems like macOS is immune (from Imran's report @ discord)
would be of great help, if any other apple user is willing to test...

This issue should already be fixed in the build that I'm testing, so it should arrive to you soon. Keeping this thread open just until we publish.
