Title: Corona crashes when displacement is on

Hello,

I have a problem :

Corona crashes when I launch a render of my scene.


When I set the displacement off (in this material Wood planks32), all is ok.

Anyone has an idea to fix it ?

Hello there!

Thank you for this report. Would it be possible to see your scene? With it, we will be able to fix your issue much faster. You have our word that the scene will only be used for debugging Corona. The private uploader can be found in my forum signature at the bottom of my post.

Actually, the bitmaps might be important to reproduce the crash on our side. But we will see...

Hi, no crash here, I'm afraid :-( Your material setup seems quite standard. I'd suggest these two things:

1.) If possible, send us the textures so that we can reproduce the crash on our side.
2.) Crash it on your side and send us the _BugReport.txt file as described in the screenshot.

Displacement size set to small when on "Screen Size (px)"?
If you set that value too low (for the render size) your render will just flood the system and crash basically.

The following values are solid:
1200px resolution: 1,5px
2000px resolution: 2px
3500px resolution: 2.5px
5000px resolution: 4px
