Hi
I'm new here but I do love corona render. I'm trying to understand how to get a velocity pass from cinema 4d corona render multi-pass?
A simple scene, rotating and moving a cube with checker texture from point A to Point B, camera, sky all set. Velocity Multi-Pass Activated but export Black with no velocity info, even if I offset to 0.5 there is no info at all.
When I activate motion blur in Camera/Postprocessing there is motion blur in the Beauty Pass AND the Velocity Map has info.
How can I output a clean (no motion blurred) beauty pass with a velocity map to motion blur later in post in corona for c4d ??
Thanks in advance!

Looks like a bug to me - the Velocity pass should work without Motion Blur being enabled in the render settings (but it is likely that it wouldn't work in IR even then, it doesn't in Max... but in Max it does work without MoBlur being enabled for the Beauty in a full render, which is what would be expected since the idea of the pass is to apply the MoBlur in post :) )
I can confirm the same thing happens to me in a simple test scene.

Yeah, that's looking to me too. It was driving me crazy and I need it so bad right now. But seems that I had to wait until next beta release... :(

Moving this post over to the bugs section :)

Is there an update on this issue? I'm having the same problem and it's causing major issues in this project.

It's on our investigation list, we'll update you once we have more news. Thanks.

It isn't solved yet, I have the same issue. Hope you are working on it :) Do you have any news here?
I think it's not the most important thing to fix but nice if you can do it ;)

This bug isn't fixed yet. Are you working on it?

Thanks!

I see, you are fixing motion blur in v5. Please fix this bug too!
It isn't working yet... :(

Hi and thanks for the reminder. We are of course aware of this problem and have a fix planned. Just be aware that it will have the same problems as the motion blur, because it has to be implemented using motion blur.
Edit: Of course, ultimately, we want to fix the motion blur problems. Just wanted to warn you that this will not be any sort of a silver bullet.
