Howdy!

I totally amazed by new versions of Corona. The light mixer and bloom and glare are working pretty nice and I was eager to test these.

So there was a small competition about post apocalypse and I though about taking a part. And this is what I made after few days working in free time.
The goal was to not spend to much time on it so I know it could be better, but I still hope you like it :)

The cool thing is that most of postproduction is done in Corona! The photoshop helped to burn the sky a bit more, add people and birds and few other details.

Please tell me what you think!

Hi all.

I'd like to share my new visualizations of a Lennox Residence located in Belgium.
Done in 3Ds max, Corona (of course) and some adjustments in Photoshop.

Hope you like it!

And if you like to see more works of me and my team, please check our site www.one2.com.pl

[Max] I need help! / Physically correct materials
« on: 2016-07-23, 16:34:12 »
Hi guys!

I'd like to start a discussion about physically correct materials creation in Corona Renderer.
Lately I was enjoying the Grant Warwick's method of creating such in VRay. You know, the way where he disable VRay's Fresnel option and create one by himself using fallof map. Then he Blend few materials with different fallof map to create the GGX shader effect.

I was wondering is there a way to use this worflow in Corona renderer? Cuz I don't think it's possible to disable Fresnel in corona materials, am I right? I don't see any option to create my own reflective curve in Corona material. Blending materials in corona using AO or fallof as masks give great results, but what if I have charts that tells me how the correct reflective curve should look like and I would like to put it into the Corona? Or maybe there is another option that can help me createing realistic materials without eyeballing it?

What do you guys think?

[Max] I need help! / Why my light is so noisy?
« on: 2015-12-08, 09:31:37 »
Hallo everyone!
Sometimes I encounter problems with light in Corona. There is just no way to render it without noise. I've attachted an example scene. Please look at candles reflections on the floor and also the window light/reflection on the right side of the table, on the floor. This render took 9h with 48 cores.

I light this scene only with HDRI map and lights from the candles.
There are portals in the windows placed - as I assume - correctly.
I've also tried some different settings, and attachted the latest one.

Do anyone know what am I doing wrong? I would be greatfull for any kind of help.

Cheers!

[Max] I need help! / How to remove burned edges???
« on: 2015-07-15, 14:22:18 »
Hallo!
I'm new in Corona (working in 3ds MAX) so I still act a little in the dark. I've encountered a problem that can be seen in the attached picture (mostly in the right window and balcony fence)
Picture was rendered to PNG format, without the background so I could plant a picture in the back. Since using CORONA SKY in the  ENVIORMENT slot, background while rendering was white. This causes these white edges.
My question is how to get rid of them !?
Maybe there is a way for the background to be black while rendering or maybe editing in photoshop can somehow overcome them? MATTE option in PS does not work, also the HIGLIHHT COMPRESS does not work in this case.

I would be greatfull for the help!

Cheers
