hi guys

my very first project and attempt with both 3ds Max and Corona Render...(just started learning how to use 3ds max )
This is really by far a really cool renderer, I was going to try vray but it was very tidious setting up, and looked like a huge learning curve for me,
and so was very happy to stumble upon this renderer....

thank you Ondra...youre doing a fantastic job , and all those who are helping out to make this the best renderer in the World....keep it up.

oh yeah any help would be appreciated....like how to do the droplights a bit better.

Hi jonofj,

try to make standard glass setup and in refraction section change the value of IOR until you are happy (this might not be the best solution but it worked for me quite well)

You should work more on textures. Right now it's quite poor quality.
As for mirror, i usualy do this way: 0 - diffuse, 0.9 - reflection, 50 - IOR. Optionally you can give very slight green tint to reflection color.

It's not that bad except for textures - they are horrible. You should look for higher quality textures and make them tileable. Just google "free textures pack" or "cc0 textures" or look for them on deviantart.

thanx for all of your response....on the textures.

Im not sure if its a bug or what but as i click on Stop on the renders - it restarts the renders....so I have to click save first.

I loaded it on another computer and same thing happens.
