That's either done with a black/white texture used for bump - the 'cheap' version - or as displacement. Displacement will look better but may have some undesired side effects.

No , i tried both bump and displacement, not working as intended.

Well, bump and/displacement should do it. So you might have done it in a "bad" way....?

Otherwise you'll have to model it.

Hope it helps

For something not working, best to share example renders, plus at very least material set ups in the Node Editor, but even better the scene itself (even if simplified down to non-final geometry like a simple plane, and non-final maps like simple text).

I agree, we don't even know if this is Max or C4d?

Bump at 99 will be quite a bit too much, something *should* happen. Displacement not working could mean that it's not enabled globally. But it really depends what program you use, what's the shader setup, even lighting can matter in this case.

you may try blur texture in photoshop- box blur for example gives smooth transition but may not work well in some case, or sculpt text and add imperfections at edges etc, and bake zdepth for displacement

If the map has a harsh black to white transition, try to blur it, it a smooth gradient will help especially with the bump.
