Just saw this interesting approach on ink rendering at sketchfab and wanted to see if it's replicable in Corona. Turns out it perfectly is! Corona toon render :]

H&F are perfectly excludable from AO calculations. You just have to remember that generally you don't want to grow hair on your object, but rather on it's non renderable copy.

my peter guthrie hdri's are over blown in my mtl editor and viewport so makes it impossible to align my corona sun with the sun in the hdri. how do i get the peter guthrie hdri to appear visible like most other hdri's or like a regular jpeg in viewport when activated with ALT B and set to"use environment background"???

Open enviroment dialog (default shortcut 8), enable exposure control and choose logarithmic from a drop down list. You may need to tick exterior daylight option on or adjust brightness. Once done, you may leave exposure enabled - Corona disregards those settings anyway.

No, but there is such request registered: https://forum.corona-renderer.com/index.php/topic,8833.0.html

So, fingers crossed, maybe we'll get it with next CScatter upgrade :]

I think we need some clever script bot that could recognize specific questions and would automatically post the right answers :]

Rounded corners was moved into separate CoronaRoundedEdges map. Plug it into bump slot of your materials.

It's very open space. Light can reach there without any trouble. Just render as it is and it should be fine.

Seats doesn't look very comfortable to me :]

Nice bricks, BTW. Those are geometry or displacement?

Or you can just simply submit low res image for a few passes render and see if there's a compatibility problems.

I placed Turbosmooth and Max crashed.

Don't use turbosmooth, it will never look good on meshes consisting of triangles. Use HSDS modifier instead.

Then you can't be sure that your view isn't stuck in a middle of a wall or other obstacle where light simply cannot reach. Create a camera, properly locate it in an open space and render through it to see if it helps with your exposure problems.

Where's your camera located? In a room with no windows? ;]

Maybe for sunlight it's too hard to reach a camera. You could try to increase exposure untill picture becomes brighter, but i suspect there can be more serious problems in your scene.

Obviously. How else could program estimate when rendering finishes? :] If there's no limit set, rendering will go on endlessly.

Estimated time is shown in render window as well as in Corona VFB during rendering.
